Welcome to maybe the greatest Geocaching International Film Festival of all times.
Geocaching friends have been celebrating a movie night in the fall with award-winning short films from all over the world for a few years now. The films revolve around our special hobby, geocaching. Groundspeak gives all participants a special souvenir.
This year we want to make it one of the largest „Drive-In“ events.
The historical „Drive-In“ movie theater in Cologne offers slots for 1000 cars and a big screen of 540 square meters.
November 10th at 5:00 pm we will be ready. The location has plenty of space to exchange around our game even if the weather might not be perfect.
"Signal"TM has gotten out from the headquarters and will be on site from about 17.30 to 19.30.
He is of course available for souvenir photos and certainly helps with a LabCache on the site.
Highlight will be the showing of GIFF 2018 at 8:00 pm on the big screen.
Entrance will be permitted for cars, bicycles and on foot
In order to finance the event, we are forced to charge a fee for the cinema area for all motorized vehicles (for example motorbike, car, camper) of 11, - EUR. Cyclists and pedestrians are welcome, of course, free of charge.
The cinema contains a snack bar with moderate pricing, but feel free to bring your own. . Please bring a FM radio if you want to listen to the sound as the theater is a licensed radio station.
